We started Hurry Burry Farm in 2004 with the goal of raising humanely-treated, free-range, hormone-free poultry and meats. All of our animals receive fresh goat-milk, fresh pasture and the freedom to move about unhindered. We firmly believe that all our animals should have the sun overhead, grass beneath, plenty of fresh air and plenty of room to roam about and exercise. Hurry Burry strives for a holistic and balanced approach to caring for our livestock and farmland. We believe that our farming methods produce a product that is healthier and tastier than the commercially raised alternatives.

Hurry Burry is a small artisan family farm located in the beautiful Catoctin Mountains of Maryland. We are committed to producing humanely raised, grass-fed, free-range meats and poultry. Most of today's food is raised in large confinement houses, where livestock barely has enough room to turn around, rarely see daylight and are fed heavily medicated rations. But many families are looking for alternatives to the corporate offerings found at the grocery store. They want eggs that have healthy golden yolks and a real egg taste. Meats from animals that are raised on fresh natural grass and sunshine and are free of growth hormones, antibiotics, disease and injected flavor. Animals that move about, interact with each other and with us and are part of a holistic approach to farming, health, nutrition and the environment. By practicing this sustainable agriculture, we can be certain that our children can continue to play in the fields, swim in the creeks, fish in the ponds and enjoy the healthy and wholesome environment that farm living used to provide.

Hurr y Burry Farm is located in the Catoctin Mountains , minutes away from beautiful Cunningham Falls State Park . We are 20 minutes away from Frederick, MD, just 15 minutes off I-70. All of our sales are done direct to the consumer. We do not sell thru grocery stores, only fresh off the farm. Delivery is available in a limited area. We encourage visits to the farm to see the animals and meet the farmers. However, we have several working dogs that watch over and protect our animals, so for the safety of you and our animals, we ask that you give us some notice so that we are certain someone will be there to greet you - not just the dogs.
